Photoshop packaging design Tutorial-(Ice Cream)

Hello guys, I hope everyone is having a good day. Today I have brought you a new and special packaging graphic design tutorial. Stay tuned as I describe the step-by-step tutorial. This Tutorial is about Professional Ice Cream packaging label design using Adobe Photoshop cc. Stay with me I will describe it step by step. You need some ingredients to practice this tutorial.

Design Materials:

(1) Adobe Photoshop ( Note: Use the latest version software )
(2) Stock Images and Mockup

This tutorial is for those who want to learn basic-level packaging graphic design. This is a very simple and basic-level tutorial. Those who work at the advanced level can follow this tutorial as well. So without further ado, let's start the tutorial

First of all, open up your Photoshop Software. Than Press  Ctrl+N or click on Create New to create a new document. When you click create new then a dialog box will open. Now put file name and file size. And make sure you select  CMYK color mode. (Note: IF you use those documents for the web select RGB color mode and if you won't use those files for print use CMYK color mode. Then click on Create

After that, when the Photoshop artboard's dialog box will open click on the Shape tool from the Photoshop site toolbar and draw a square shape. Now choose any color from the Photoshop colors palette. The color can be changed later. Now go to File and click on Open. Now produce the strawberry and ice cream image from the computer is stored.

When the image of Strawberries and Ice Cream appears in photoshop separate tab. Then click on the Icecream image tab. Then use Rectangular Marquee Tool by pressing M from Keyboard or direct clicking on the rectangular marquee tool. Then make a selection around the ice cream, as you can see in the above screenshot. Now press Ctrl+C from the keyboard to copy the selected area or you can crop the image by pressing Ctrl+X.

Now come back to the main design artboard and bring the pink ice cream selected area over the design artboard (Just simply press Ctrl+V to paste the selected area). after pressing Ctrl+V you will see the pink ice cream with white background. Now click on the Magic Wand Tool or Just Simply press M from the keyboard to bring the magic wand tool then click on the white area of the ice cream image then press Delete from the keyboard to delete the extra white area of the ice cream image.

After erasing the white background increase the ice cream size a little bit (select ice cream image layer and press Ctrl +T to adjust the size). Now drag the ice cream transparent image and place it perfectly. After placement click on the Photoshop Color Picker tool from the sidebar and click on the ice cream color or you can directly put the color code (#d780ab) Please see the look on the snapshot if you don't understand.

In the same way, erase the white background from the strawberry image and place it on the right side of the ice cream. Make sure the strawberry image layer is behind the ice cream layer. After adjusting the strawberry click on the Photoshop Brush tool and select 1811 brush and select brush Mode: Normal, Opacity:84% Flow: 82% and click on the Photoshop Foreground color and make the color dark pink. Your design is done.
