Navigate to the "File" menu and select "New." A dialog box will appear where you can set the size and resolution of your design artboard, and choose to create a new one or use an existing one. Once you have produced your choice, click "Create" to begin your artboard. With Photoshop's impressive tools and features at your removal, designing your artwork will be a breeze.

Create a New Document Open Adobe Illustrator and create a new document by selecting "File" > "New." Choose the dimensions and other settings for your artwork. Create a rectangle that spans the entire artboard using the Rectangle tool (M). This will serve as the background for your blending color effect. Apply the Gradient Mesh With the rectangle selected, go to "Object" > "Create Gradient Mesh." Within the dialogue box, specify the desired number of rows and columns for the mesh. To achieve a smoother gradient, opt for a higher value for the number of rows and columns in the mesh. Click "OK" to apply the gradient mesh to the rectangle. Select the Mesh Points Switch to the Direct Selection tool (A), and click on the anchor points of the gradient mesh to select them. Choose Colors With the mesh points set, pick your desired colors from the Swatches panel or the Color panel. You can choose different colors for each anchor point to create the blending effect. Adjust Colors and Blend Click and drag the selected mesh points to adjust their position and make a soft transition between colors. As you modify the anchor points, the colors blend harmoniously, resulting in a seamless gradient effect. Add more Mesh Points (Optional) For more control over the blending, you can add additional mesh points by using the Add Anchor Point tool from the Pen tool submenu. Click on the mesh lines where you want to add new matters. Fine-Tune the Gradient Continue adjusting the position and colors of the mesh points until you achieve the desired blending color background effect.

In the Layers panel, click on the "New Layer" button to create a new layer. This will be where we'll apply the Gradient. Choose Gradient Tool Select the Gradient Tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen. If the Paint Bucket Tool is visible, right-click on it to access the Gradient Tool. Set Gradient Options In the top options bar, click on the gradient preview to open the Gradient Editor. Select the Foreground to Background" gradient preset, allowing for a smooth transition from the foreground color to the ground color. It's the default option that seamlessly blends the two colors. Choose Purple Colors Ensure that your foreground color is set to the shade of purple you want to use for the start of the gradient. Click on the color swatch in the toolbar to open the Color Picker and select the purple shade you like. Set Background Color Choose a darker or lighter shade of purple as the background color. You can change the background color by selecting the background color swatch and picking a different purple shade from the Color Picker. Apply the Gradient With the Gradient Tool selected and the correct colors are chosen, click and drag the tool across the canvas to apply the Gradient. Start the drag from the top to the bottom or vice versa, depending on the direction you want the Gradient to flow. Adjust as Needed If the gradient doesn't look as you want, you can undo and redo the steps to apply different colors or adjust the gradient's direction until you achieve the desired effect.
