If you're looking to create a professional business card, then you'll need to use Photoshop. This tutorial will guide you on how to make a business card in adobe Photoshop, operating a simple, clean layout.
First, open up Photoshop and make a new document. The measurements for a traditional business card are 3.5 inches x 2 inches. Once you have set up the PSD document, you'll want to make two different parts if you want two side business cards. However, in this tutorial, I have created two side business cards part and we will add a logo and image. On the other part, we will add the contact information.
If you see this business card template, I highlight a person using some effect. You can add your picture here and apply the same. If you need to resize your image, you can do photoshop "Transform" tool from the main toolbar.
Regardless, we make the background using the rectangle tool and draw a shape that covers the entire design canvas. Here I pick a color that matches the model color. Now we have to create a pattern to make the pattern we will use adobe illustrator because it's easy to make. Create a triangle shape in illustrator and make a copy of this shape. Now make it smaller using direct selection tools. Directly use the blend tool and blend those into shapes. Now create a copy of this blended shape and transform it left. Select all shapes, now go to Effect>Distort & Transform>Transform. then you will see the transform option and put the value as you noticed in the tutorial video below.
Drag and drop the shape from illustrator to photoshop. Now we need to create a clipping mask for the photo with the shape. Lastly, apply a drop shadow shape.
To add your contact details, you can either utilize the "Text" tool or the "Shape" tool.
