Dear viewers welcome to the Grapocean tutorial. Today the subject of my tutorial is producing professional packaging design. I have designed this PSD in adobe photoshop. So let's start the design process without further ado.
How to make an eye-catching packaging design for brand packaging?
Open Photoshop and create a design document according to the product dimensions. If you want to separate the design part, use canvas size and a ruler. In this chip packaging design, I use two colors, purple and yellow. After creating the artboard, use the rectangle shape tool and create a rectangle shape. Make sure it covers the total design artboard.
That means it is the background of the packaging. To make the background of the design more attractive, I use a paper pattern. Just drag and drop the pattern image and change the layer mode from Normal to Divide.
Next, drag and drop the chips png transparent image and place where it's look feet. Now create a round fill shape and make the color yellow. Make sure the shape behind the chip's image.
Next, I create a geometric pattern for this packaging design. Using rectangle carve shape. Then, I decreased the opacity of the geometric pattern. Now I have made the Ellipse custom stroke shape using the ellipse shapes. This custom ellipse is one kind of pattern effect.
Now we need to open the illustrator program because we need to create a highlighting shape for the packaging name or heading title. After creating the shape drag and drop it into photoshop and apply some effects on the shape so the title is visible clearly. you can apply some text effects also.
