Hello and welcome to my special book cover design tutorial in adobe photoshop. In this tutorial, I will make a creative book cover. In a word, cover designing is an essential art, and art is made by personal creative skills. In creating book covers, no doubt, it is an absolute essential of book design. The cover needs to be of a high standard so as to grab the reader’s attention. But, before starting any design, you should have an idea about the topic or a book you want to design. Then, you can easily decide the content. Another main thing is your target audience. Without further ado, let's start the tutorial.
Design Description-
First I all I make the book cover artboard according to it size in adobe photoshop. If you see there is three-part of the book cover front cover back cover and side cover. However, after making that artboard. I have found a model so the book cover looks so creative and I can apply the effect perfectly. After finding the model I have to bring it on photoshop artboard and crop its background. [Note: To remove the hair background I see refine age or selection mask]
To make the beautiful effect on the model face I use a shower image. I drag and drop the shower image and place it on the face after I go Edit>Transform>Warp and make it a little bit carve so the effect looks good on the model face. After that, I make a selection of model faces and make a mask of the shower to keep it inside the model face. and I have used another image of highway road and placed the image using the same technique. To make the background I have used a watercolor brush
