Adobe Photoshop CC. In this tutorial, I have described, the design process of a product bottle label or packaging design step by step. Bottle label design is one kind of product packaging design. but there is no need to make a dieline for this design. We just have to make the artboard according to the bottle dimension. 

However, Here we use adobe photoshop to design this you can use adobe illustrator also. I prefer using an updated version of the program.

This Tutorial is about a professional product packaging label using Adobe Photoshop CC. In this tutorial, I will show you step by step, How to design a beautiful oil bottle label in Adobe Photoshop and. 

First of all, We will be creating a design artboard for the bottle label design according to bottle dimension. To do this, first, open your adobe photoshop program by double click on the photoshop icon. Now click on Create New or press Ctrl+N from your keyboard. After that, fill up the "preset details" First, put the document name, here I type "Oil Bottle Lable" you can put any name you want. Now input the width box- 1036 and Height-976 make sure to select Pixels from the drop-down box. Now click on create button below. to create a design artboard 

To Make this bottle label packaging background, we just use one image of a sunflower background. In this step, we have to make a rectangle shape. that covers the total design artboard. to do this use the Rectangle tool from the photoshop right-side toolbar and draw a rectangle shape, Make sure the color of the rectangle shape is yellow like the sunflower. Because our design theme is yellow. However, now open the sunflower image on photoshop. 

To do this, go to the top menu and click on  File>Open and open this image on adobe photoshop. Now unlock the image layer by clicking on the lock icon, and now drag the image and drop it on the main design artboard. Now make the layer mask of the photo by clicking on the layer mask button. Now active the layer mask by clicking on the white mask thumbnail. Click on the Gradient tool. Make sure the background color is black and the foreground color is white. Now drag the gradient point from the top to bottom to fade the edge of the sunflower.  

In this step, we will make the sunflower photo transparent and put it on the sunflower background design artboard. To do this, open the main sunflower image in photoshop using the same method. Now we will transparent the sunflower photo, by using the photoshop Magic wand tool. Click on the magic wand tool from the Photoshop toolbar and just click outside of the sunflower, it will automatically select the background of the sunflower, Now press Delete from the keyboard to delete the unwanted background from the sunflower. Now drag that transparent image on the main design artboard and place the sunflower in the bottom left 

In this step, we will make a line pattern for the bottle label design, and title highlighting shapes to highlight the title. To make the pattern, first, we create one line shape using the Ellipse tool and after that, we just copy the shapes multiple times. Now we will make the title highlight shape using the Photoshop pen tool after creating the shape open its blending option properties by double-clicking on the layer. After opening the layer style dialog box, checkmark gradient overlay and pick a light golden gradient from the Gradient panel. Now click on ok. Now use the type tool, and type the heading title, and put it on the highlighted shape. After that put all other text that you want to all on the design.
