Hello guy, today I will explain the design process of facewash tube design tutorials in the text. Before I begin, I want to tell you something about graphic design facewash tube design. I have designed this facewash tube using adobe photoshop. I prefer to use adobe illustrator for print to get a better print result. You can make it in adobe photoshop also or another program. However, Here I share my practical experiences of adobe photoshop design. To learn professional graphic design, you must focus and concentrate on color, shape, and background. If you miss anything from those, then the entire work will be incomplete. However, let's start the tutorial without further ado.

Tutorial Ingredients-

Mockup File-

To design a cosmetic product tube, you must have Adobe Photoshop CC or another Photoshop version. I recommend using an updated version of Photoshop. Click on your photoshop program to start the photoshop program. When the photoshop interface will load successfully, create a document by clicking on New or (Ctrl+N). When you click on create new that an artboard-making dialog box will open. Now put the name of the document and the size of the Cosmetic Product tube. I used(7 inches width and 17 inches height and resolution 300 px and color mode RGB) [Note: when you design for print, please select CMYK color mode] You can use other sizes to design your Cosmetic Product Tube. Now click on Create. After clicking on Create, It will be showing a new blank white artboard document. We need to make a design structure on this white document.

In the first step, click on the Rectangle Tool from the photoshop toolbar or by pressing U from the keyboard. Now hold the mouse's left click and draw a rectangle over the entire background. Make sure the shape covers the total design artboard. Now choose one of the color form color panels. It's no matter what color you choose for this rectangle color because we will change it later. Here I pick the blue color. After picking up colors, turns off the Stroke of the rectangle shape. After completing this, you can see a blue rectangle layer created in the layer panel.

Now, our task is to make a pink gradient as the background. To accomplish this, Double click on the blue Rectangle Layer to open its Blending Options dialog box. From there, check the Gradient Overlay box and select the pink gradient from the Gradient panel. Now edit that gradient the color. To edit the gradient color, click on the gradient color box, and then double click on the color points icon to change any color. And If you want to add more color points in your gradient, hold Alt and click on the gradient color. After the gradient adjustment, click on Ok.

At this level, we put the flower image on the design artboard. To do this, go to Photoshop top File menu and click on Place Embedded and select the flower stock image and click on place. When you click on the place button, you will see the flower image will open according to the design artboard size. If you need more resize, activate the flower image layer and then go Edit and select Free Transform or press (Ctrl+T) from the keyboard to adjust the size of the flower image. When you feel the adjustment of the flower size successfully, click on Ok.

This time, we will bring the water splash photo on the design canvas using the same way. Bring this water splash photo on the design artboard you have to again go to the File > Place Embedded and select the water splash photo and click on place. And then adjust the size of the water splash image again. After finishing the adjustment, click on Ok. Now Double Click on the water image layer or Right Click on the layer to open Blending Options. After opening the blending option, select Color Overlay and choose the white color from the Color Picker (color code: #fcfcfc ), then click Ok.

In this step, we will make a dark pink rectangle shape. After that, make another pink shape over it. For that, click on Rectangle Tool from photoshop right menu bar or press U from the keyboard. Now hold the mouse Left Click and drag it right side until it adjusts on the design canvas. Now go to the shape properties on the top toolbar. From there, turn on Fill and choose a dark purple color from the Color Panel. Make sure the Stroke is off. After doing this, you can see a rectangle layer visible in the layer box. Now we will use the Pen tool to draw a shape over it. When you click on the pen tool, you will notice the pen tool properties and drop-down box on the top toolbar. From the drop-down box, select the Shape, not the Path. Now draw a shape using the Pen tool over the dark pink rectangle shape. You can use the flower color as the pen tool shape color. Now You will notice that a pen tool shape layer is visible as "shape 1 layer" in the layer panel.

Now move your mouse cursor on the shape 1 layer. And Right-click when the mouse cursor on Shape 1 layer. Then you will see a function list from there, select Create Clipping Mask. [Note: shape 1 layer must be positioned on upper and rectangle 1 layer right it below. If it is not, then the Clipping Mask will not work.]

The design structure of the cosmetic tube is almost ready. Now click on the Type tool from the photoshop right menu bar and type all the information we need to put on the design artboard. Then we have to highlight the heading text by increasing its size and change its color. Now decorate all texts the way one looks beautiful. Now click on the top layer to activate it and press (Alt+Ctrl+Shift+E) to merge all layers into one image layer because we will put this design on a tube mockup.

Now we will put the design on the mockup file. First, open the mockup PSD file and Double-click on the mockup top smart layer. When you double-click on the smart layer, then a layer will open in a new pop-up design tab. From there, drag your design and drop it on the pop-up layer, and turn off all layers to accept your design layer. Now go File and click on Save or press (Ctrl+S) to save your design on the mockup.
